Little Al has a curious mind and a wild imagination. When he closed his eyes, he would see his friend, a humpback whale, who travelled the vast blue sky and sang the most beautiful songs. One day, she carried him through the clouds to a strange meadow, where sad hues of grey and brown replaced the vibrance of the earth. Learned that the kingdom was weakened because their queen was ill, Al and his friend the whale healed the queen and watched colours return to the kingdom. Overjoyed by the land’s revival, Al returned home, cherishing the sweet memory with his life-long whale friend even after entering adulthood.
